1. The red LED of my newly purchased BTM-118 turn off quickly when charging
Ans:
The headset is charged before selling for customer's convenience.
2. The LED dos not turn red when charging
Ans:
Possible reasons 1) The battery is full before charging 2) It may entirely run out of battery if the headset was not used for a long time. The LED will turn red in a while after plug in the charger.
3. The red LED does not turn off after charging a long time
Ans:
The red LED may not turn off if it's charging under FM mode.
4. Can I use the BTM-118 to listen the MP3 in mobile phone?
Ans:
BTM-118 is not A2DP stereo headset. Normally we could not use BTM-118 to listen MP3. But it can cope with Nokia and Motorola mobile phones to listen MP3 because of their special design. Yet it's not stereo sound and AVRCP remote control function is not available.
5. Can the FM radio work independently?
Ans:
Yes. The FM radio can work independently without connection to mobile phone.
6. Is there indication for incoming call when listening to FM radio? Is there auto-switching follow phone conversation?
Ans:
It will automatically switch to headset mode when there is a incoming call. You will hear ring tone. You can press multi-function key once to pick up the call. It will automatically switch back to FM radio after phone conversation.
7. How to achieve the best FM performance?
Ans:
The FM radio will have best performance when Bluetooth is disconnected.
8. Pairing unsuccessful
Ans:
Please make sure the headset entered pairing mode and the mobile phone entered searching mode. Please check if the password entered correctly (Password: 0000).
9. The mobile phone request re-enter password when I am trying to rebuild Bluetooth connection
Ans:
It's related to the Bluetooth settings in mobile phone. The mobile phone must set "allow Bluetooth auto reconnection". Then, password is not required during Bluetooth reconnection.
10. There is intermittent during conversation
Ans:
1) Please make sure the headset and mobile phone are within effective distance
2) Please make sure there is no obstructer between headset and mobile phone
3) The surrounding electronic device interference and the strength of the mobile phone signal may also cause intermittent

11. Call switching unsuccessful
Ans:
Different mobile phone may have different operation mode for call switching.
Situation A): During a phone conversation, push the multi-function key to the - direction for 4 seconds to switch the call from the headset to your mobile phone and press down the multi-function key once to switch back to the headset. This operation is suitable for Nokia mobile phones

Situation B): During a phone conversation, push the multi-function key to the - direction for 4 seconds to switch the call from the headset to your mobile phone and switch the call and switch back the call to the headset by the same operation. This operation is suitable for Sony Ericsson, Motorola, etc. mobile phones.
12. Could not power on
Ans:
The headset may run out of battery. Please recharge and try again. If the headset still could not power on after charging, please contact our service department (Tel: 24152086 ).


13. The FM radio reception of the BTM-118 is not that good as before.
Ans:
(1) The earphone is also the FM antenna of the headset. If the copper wire of the earphone is worn of ageing or damaged, it deteriorates the FM reception. You may use another piece of earphone in the package to verify if the poor FM reception is due to the failure of the earphone. In this case, you may purchase a new earphone in our service centre.

(2) The FM broadcast in raining day is affected by the weather.

14. The headset runs out of battery very soon after charging it the whole night.
Ans:
It is possible that water enters the headset in raining. In this case, the battery efficiency may deteriorate very much. Please keep the headset dry in all times because a wet headset is not repairable.

1. Pairing unsuccessful
Ans:
Please make sure the headset entered pairing mode and the mobile phone entered searching
2. Could not listen MP3 in mobile phone.
Ans:
Please make sure your mobile phone support A2DP Bluetooth Stereo.

Ans:

4. AVRCP not function properly
Ans:
It is related to mobile's design and compatibility. Please refer to mobile phone's operation instruction.
5. MP3 playback being abnormal after rebuilt Bluetooth connection by pressing the multi-function key on BTM-301ST
Ans:
Please disconnect Bluetooth on mobile phone and rebuild Bluetooth connection again through mobile phone operation. Then, the MP3 playback will return to normal. If the Bluetooth headset could not be connected by mobile phone, please restart mobile phone and try again.
6. The mobile phone request re-enter password when I am trying to rebuild Bluetooth connection
Ans:
