3. The red LED does not turn off after charging a long time
Ans:
The red LED may not turn off if it's charging under FM mode.
4. Can I use the BTM-118 to listen the MP3 in mobile phone?
Ans:
BTM-118 is not A2DP stereo headset. Normally we could not use BTM-118 to listen MP3. But it can cope with Nokia and Motorola mobile phones to listen MP3 because of their special design. Yet it's not stereo sound and AVRCP remote control function is not available.
5. Can the FM radio work independently?
Ans:
Yes. The FM radio can work independently without connection to mobile phone.
6. Is there indication for incoming call when listening to FM radio? Is there auto-switching follow phone conversation?
Ans:
It will automatically switch to headset mode when there is a incoming call. You will hear ring tone. You can press multi-function key once to pick up the call. It will automatically switch back to FM radio after phone conversation.
7. How to achieve the best FM performance?
Ans:
The FM radio will have best performance when Bluetooth is disconnected.
8. Pairing unsuccessful
Ans:
Please make sure the headset entered pairing mode and the mobile phone entered searching mode. Please check if the password entered correctly (Password: 0000).
9. The mobile phone request re-enter password when I am trying to rebuild Bluetooth connection
Ans:
It's related to the Bluetooth settings in mobile phone. The mobile phone must set "allow Bluetooth auto reconnection". Then, password is not required during Bluetooth reconnection.
10. There is intermittent during conversation
Ans:
1) Please make sure the headset and mobile phone are within effective distance
2) Please make sure there is no obstructer between headset and mobile phone
3) The surrounding electronic device interference and the strength of the mobile phone signal may also cause intermittent

11. Call switching unsuccessful
Ans:
Different mobile phone may have different operation mode for call switching.
Situation A): During a phone conversation, push the multi-function key to the - direction for 4 seconds to switch the call from the headset to your mobile phone and press down the multi-function key once to switch back to the headset. This operation is suitable for Nokia mobile phones

Situation B): During a phone conversation, push the multi-function key to the - direction for 4 seconds to switch the call from the headset to your mobile phone and switch the call and switch back the call to the headset by the same operation. This operation is suitable for Sony Ericsson, Motorola, etc. mobile phones.
12. Could not power on
Ans:
The headset may run out of battery. Please recharge and try again. If the headset still could not power on after charging, please contact our service department (Tel: 24152086 ).


13. The FM radio reception of the BTM-118 is not that good as before.
Ans:
(1) The earphone is also the FM antenna of the headset. If the copper wire of the earphone is worn of ageing or damaged, it deteriorates the FM reception. You may use another piece of earphone in the package to verify if the poor FM reception is due to the failure of the earphone. In this case, you may purchase a new earphone in our service centre.

(2) The FM broadcast in raining day is affected by the weather.

14. The headset runs out of battery very soon after charging it the whole night.
Ans:
It is possible that water enters the headset in raining. In this case, the battery efficiency may deteriorate very much. Please keep the headset dry in all times because a wet headset is not repairable.

Ans:
It is related to mobile's design and compatibility. Please refer to mobile phone's operation instruction.
5. MP3 playback being abnormal after rebuilt Bluetooth connection by pressing the multi-function key on BTM-301ST
Ans:
Please disconnect Bluetooth on mobile phone and rebuild Bluetooth connection again through mobile phone operation. Then, the MP3 playback will return to normal. If the Bluetooth headset could not be connected by mobile phone, please restart mobile phone and try again.
6. The mobile phone request re-enter password when I am trying to rebuild Bluetooth connection
Ans:
It's related to the Bluetooth settings in mobile phone. The mobile phone must set "allow Bluetooth auto reconnection". Then, password is not required during Bluetooth reconnection.

6. Does the headset play the FM radio without connecting a mobile phone?

Ans:
Yes, it can.? You can use it as a standalone FM radio.

7. Is there any incoming call indication while the headset is playing FM? Will it auto switch to the conversation mode?

Ans:
The buzzer of the headset will sound and you will hear alert in the earphone for incoming call.? Press the Multi-Function Button to accept the call.? It will return to FM mode following the conversation.

8. How to achieve the best FM reception performance?

Ans:
The FM reception is the best while the headset is not in connection with mobile phone.

9. In FM radio mode, how to reconnect the headset and mobile phone if the connection is broken?

Ans:
Press the Multi-Function Button two times promptly will re-connect them if the two are within operation distance range.

10. Unable to forward or backward the music track

Ans:
Press ˇ§+ˇ¨ and hold until it moves to next track; press ˇ§-ˇ§ and hold until it moves to previous track.

11. In FM radio mode, there is an incoming call while the Bluetooth connection is broken.? How to reconnect them and accept this call?

Ans:
Press the Multi-Function Button two times promptly will re-connect them if they are in operation range.? Press the Multi-Function Button once again to accept the call.

12. OLED display goes off

Ans:
The OLED will go off if no key operation in 30 seconds.? Press the ˇ§+ˇ¨ or ˇ§-ˇ§ side keys can get back the OLED display.

13. Need to input the pairing code again after connection is broken for a while

Ans:
You can set the mobile phone Bluetooth connection to ˇ§auto connectionˇ¨ to avoid inputting the pairing code again.

14. Intermittent conversation

Ans:
It can be due to the far apart distance or blocking object between the mobile phone and Bluetooth headset; or around with electronic interference.? Ans:
This operation has slight difference for different mobile phones:
During a phone conversation with the headset, presses the Multi-Function Button for 4 seconds, you can switch the conversation from the headset to your mobile phone.
To switch the conversation from mobile phone to the headset,
AˇG(For NokiaˇK) Press the Multi-Function Button once.
BˇG(Sony Ericsson & MotorolaˇK) Press the Multi-Function Button for 4 seconds.

16. Unable to turn on the headset

Ans:

It is due to the compatibility of the mobile phone.? Please check the user manual of the mobile phone for relating instruction.

7. After pressing the Multi-Function Button to re-connect the headset and the mobile phone, the MP3 playing is found abnormal.

Ans:
In this case, disconnect the Bluetooth connection through the mobile phone, and connect the headset again from the mobile phone operation.? Now, the MP3 will play as normal.? If you are fail to connect the headset in this way, please turn off the mobile phone.? You will be ready to connect the headset again after turning the mobile phone on.
